An analysis by economists at ECONorthwest found that credit unions last year gave their members $352 million in direct benefits, supported over 45,000 jobs and impacted the economy to the tune of nearly $7 billion.

ECONorthwest economists documented the nearly $7 billion impact Northwest credit unions had on the economy, and the hundreds of millions of dollars in direct member benefits that only cooperative credit unions can return.
In addition to the economic data, the Northwest Credit Union Association has published Community Giving Reports detailing the good work credit unions do building stronger communities and better financial foundations for families.
