Credit unions are on the front line protecting members from identity theft and fraud. In addition to partnering with a variety of public and private organizations to support pro-consumer policy initiatives, credit unions take a number of practical approaches to addressing the rising wave of financially motivated crime. In the past five years Northwest credit unions actively participated in the development of consumer-related legislation and have solidified their relationships with many consumer groups.
